Despite only recording and releasing a three-song EP thus far in their career, Adelaide, Australia’s Atlas Genius<\/strong><\/a> have garnered a burgeoning buzz.\u00a0 Brothers Keith, Steven, and Michael Jeffery<\/strong> have already had their songs reach the top five of SiriusXM Satellite Radio\u2019s Alt-18 Countdown<\/strong>, fourth on Hypemachine<\/strong>, and designated an iTunes Single of the Week<\/strong> for Australia and New Zealand.\u00a0 The band is putting the finishing touches on its first full album and is coming to Soho<\/strong> in Santa Barbara<\/strong> on Friday, August 17th with Animal Kingdom<\/strong> courtesy of Club Mercy<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 Check out two studio versions of songs Trojans<\/strong><\/em> and Back Seat<\/strong><\/em>, followed by an acoustic version of Symptoms<\/strong><\/em> for Sirius<\/strong> below.\u00a0 They present breezy pop that fosters a bit of Foster the People<\/strong>, though the lyrics (on Trojans<\/strong><\/em> particularly) and playing portend depth and promise.\u00a0 Time will tell.\u00a0 Come out to Soho<\/strong> on 8\/17 and see for yourselves.<\/p>\n
