Yesterday we posted a performance by the great Low<\/strong> <\/a>at Saki’s<\/strong> for A.V. Club<\/strong>. Today A.V.<\/strong> has released a couple more songs from their new, Jeff-Tweedy<\/strong> produced album The Invisible Way<\/strong>.\u00a0 The new album is receiving near-universal raves, and these performances are so good we have to repeat ourselves and post them anew.\u00a0 First check out Clarence White<\/strong><\/em> (ostensibly an homage to the late Byrds member, but also Charles Heston<\/strong>–huh?) that builds bountifully as if a song by Low’s<\/strong> Alan Sparhawk’s Retribution Gospel Choir<\/strong>.\u00a0 Then check out one of the highlights from the new album, Plastic Cup<\/strong>.
