We had the fortune of catching Foxygen<\/strong> live and raging-loud recently in a semi-secret show at The Loft in the Funk Zone<\/a>. Later that night the band announced the cancellation of its European tour.\u00a0 Ironically, then, the decidedly European La Blogotheque<\/strong> today released a sweet video of the band strolling around Paris<\/strong> (on the Montmartre steps of Sacre Couer<\/strong>, etc.) singing songs In the Darkness<\/strong> <\/em>and No Destruction<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 Check out the band’s fine group harmonies and lead singer, Sam France<\/strong>, getting his Ray Davies\/Mick Jagger<\/strong> on. The bottom line is this band just doesn’t give a good gash what anyone thinks.\u00a0 And that’s refreshing in this day and age.\u00a0 We wish them well.\u00a0 After, check the band performing On Blue Mountain<\/strong> (at 1:50) after a long intro.\u00a0 Great to see the band suck in the sidewalk Parisians.<\/p>\n
