As we’ve written before<\/strong><\/a>, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.<\/strong><\/a> is a fantastically talented<\/strong><\/a> Detroit band led by Daniel Zott<\/strong> and Joshua Epstein<\/strong>.\u00a0 And they have been earning hearts all along the way.\u00a0 Check out their blatant commercial-crossover track If You Didn’t See Me (Then You Weren’t On The Dance Floor)<\/strong><\/em> <\/strong>(according to the band, originally entitled Too Fat For Love<\/strong><\/em>).\u00a0 The difference between this song and other (more-crass) crossover attempts is that, as we’ve seen repeatedly, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.<\/strong> have talent and musicality for days.\u00a0 Check out the songwriting, vocals, the bass, the drums, the….yes, dancing!\u00a0 Oh my.\u00a0 At times it reminds of Flaming Lips<\/strong>, but these gents can actually sing.\u00a0 The song is from their EP Patterns<\/strong>, which was released on Record Store Day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
