You, reader, might be experiencing National<\/strong> exhaustion on these pages.\u00a0 We endeavor on in our ardor<\/del>.\u00a0 We continue to look forward to their consecutive hat-trick of shows in California in August and continue to encourage all to catch the band live along the way.\u00a0 In case you won’t or to get you prepped, (up until a few moments ago) you can currently<\/del> could have watched below The National’s<\/strong> entire 90-minute set yesterday at Bonnaroo<\/strong>.\u00a0 The video featured superb sound and vision by the band and producers.\u00a0 The strong setlist is below the video<\/del>.\u00a0 In addition to some surprising song arrangements, singer Matt Berninger was obviously comfortable on stage, engaging in repeated comedic banter with the crowd.\u00a0 And Brooklyn neighbor St. Vincent<\/strong> (with Blondie-blonde<\/strong> hair) joined the band for This Is the Last Time<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 It was also good to see that new songs Humiliation<\/strong><\/em> and Graceless<\/strong><\/em> have taken their rightful place in the set with some of the band’s older greats.\u00a0 Hopefully Bonnaroo<\/strong> or The National<\/strong> will make the broadcast available again.\u00a0 If not, you can at least check out an interview by Fuse<\/strong> with Berninger<\/strong> and Dressner<\/strong> at bottom.\u00a0 We look forward to August.<\/p>\n
