Over at the <strong>Okkervil River<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.okkervilriver.com\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a> there\u2019s a lyric video for the first song, <em><strong>It Was My Season<\/strong><\/em>, from the new album<em><\/em>.\u00a0 The video was filmed last week at the <strong>Plainfield Town Hall<\/strong>, where a hand-painted backdrop by <strong>Maxfield Parrish<\/strong> has sat for decades. According to bandleader<strong> Will Sheff<\/strong>:\u00a0 &#8220;The backdrop was created so that it could be lit to simulate different times of day, and in the video Nancy Norwalk \u2013 Plainfield\u2019s Head Librarian and one of leaders of a 1990 restoration of the backdrop \u2013 takes us through the different lighting schemes, from dawn to nightfall.
