We’re oft-distracted and a little slow.\u00a0 And so we occasionally overlook salient occasions.\u00a0 Such as the release of a new Neko Case<\/strong><\/a> album!\u00a0 Heaven knows they only come around every once in a blue moon these days, with her last album release occurring in a bluish 2009 (Middle Cyclone<\/strong><\/em>).\u00a0 That’s a millennium ago in this digitalis morass.\u00a0 But to the point: Neko Case<\/strong> will release her new album The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You<\/strong><\/em>, on September 3rd.\u00a0 We can’t wait.<\/p>\n

To wit, today Case<\/strong> and Anti-Records<\/strong> released the album’s second (!) video, the lyric video for the unsettling song Night Still Comes<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 Said video follows on the hills of the initial video release for album track Man<\/strong><\/em>. Ms. Case<\/strong> is also out on tour and the dates are listed HERE<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 We last caught her live at LA’s since-shuttered Brown Derby<\/strong> venue, and it was one of the finest nights ever of musical magic.\u00a0 Highly recommended.<\/p>\n
