sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 635px) 100vw, 635px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>One of our favorite bands of the new millennium was the Central Coast&#8217;s own<a href=\"http:\/\/www.buelltonmusic.com\/\"><strong> Buellton<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 In 2001 <strong>Buellton<\/strong> released its debut album <em><strong>Avenue of the Flags<\/strong><\/em> to critical acclaim (amongst others,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.allmusic.com\/album\/avenue-of-the-flags-mw0000011162\"><strong>Allmusic<\/strong><\/a> gave it <strong>4\/5 stars<\/strong>) and much fan love.\u00a0 The album astonished with the band&#8217;s ability to cover all bases:\u00a0 whether jangling, prog-ing, rocking, or folking around, the inventive melodies, compelling vocals and oblique lyrics gave listeners multiple reasons to leave the CD (yes, compact disc) on repeat.\u00a0 To give you an idea: <em><strong>Avenue of the Flags<\/strong><\/em> remains in rotation at <strong>Chez Lefort <\/strong>over twelve years later.<\/p>\n<p>Following the debut album, <strong>Buellton<\/strong> toured successfully but then went on hiatus because: life.\u00a0 Band members were wed, had kids and jobs, and did what they did.\u00a0 And twelve years passed.\u00a0 But over the last few years, rumors leaked out that <strong>Buellton<\/strong> was back with new songs and working in the recording studio.\u00a0 Yes, there were skeptics given the years and similar rumors that turned out to be wishful-thinking.\u00a0 But turns out the rumors were true.\u00a0 This week the band announced they will release their sophomore album, <em><strong>Silent Partner<\/strong><\/em>, in early 2014, and released the addicting new track, <em><strong>Over and Out<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 Go over to the band&#8217;s site <a
