Undercover"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelefortreport.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/1382261_650147905029787_117742992_n.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-19042\" alt=\"1382261_650147905029787_117742992_n\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thelefortreport.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/1382261_650147905029787_117742992_n-650x423.jpg\" width=\"635\" height=\"413\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thelefortreport.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/1382261_650147905029787_117742992_n-650x423.jpg 650w, https:\/\/www.thelefortreport.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/1382261_650147905029787_117742992_n-150x97.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.thelefortreport.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/1382261_650147905029787_117742992_n-450x293.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.thelefortreport.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/1382261_650147905029787_117742992_n.jpg 960w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 635px) 100vw, 635px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The most pleasant surprise for us at this year&#8217;s <strong>Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival<\/strong> was the early set by Athens, GA&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.themanchesterorchestra.com\/us\/home\"><strong>Manchester Orchestra<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 Lead singer <strong>Andy Hull<\/strong> mesmerized with his songs and evocative-to-brazen vocals, backed beautifully by the other members&#8217; resonant harmony vocals and playing.\u00a0 To our ears they meld the best of<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong><\/strong><strong>Band of Horses, Modest Mouse\u00a0<\/strong>and even a bit of <strong>Clem Snide\/Eef Barzelay<\/strong> (very high praise from these parts).\u00a0 Once again we were left to wonder:\u00a0 how is it possible that we have not clued in completely on <strong>Manchester Orchestra <\/strong>before?\u00a0 After all, they&#8217;ve been around for almost ten years and released three critically-acclaimed albums (they are reportedly nearing release of a new album).\u00a0 Well, no mas.\u00a0 We&#8217;re onto this great band.<\/p>\n<p>We thought of <strong>Manchester Orchestra<\/strong> today because <strong>A.V.
