Blood Orange<\/strong><\/a> (NYC-sited Brit artist and producer Dev Hynes<\/strong>) will drop his new album Cupid Deluxe<\/strong><\/em> on 11\/18 on Domino Records<\/strong>.\u00a0 The album features collaborations with the likes of Dirty Projectors\u2019 David Longstreth<\/strong> and Chairlift\u2019s Caroline Polachek<\/strong>.\u00a0 Check out below Hynes’<\/strong> new lyric video for song You\u2019re Not Good Enough<\/strong><\/em> in which the ghost of Michael Jackson<\/strong> (OK, it’s Hynes<\/strong> in Jacko-<\/strong>garb) beats it down a sidewalk while the ’80s soundtrack on by.<\/p>\n

After, check out Hynes\u2019<\/strong> charming earlier video (filmed in Hynes’ mother’s home of Georgetown, Guyana<\/strong>) for song Chamakay<\/strong> <\/em>featuring Ms. Polachek’s <\/strong>perfect vocal mesh.\u00a0 Hynes<\/strong> says this about the latter video:\u00a0 “”I decided to visit Georgetown, Guyana for the first time, the town where my mother is from. She, herself has not been back for 30 years, 3 years before I was born. I tracked down family members, including my 92 year old grandfather, who I had never met before. In this video you will see our first ever meeting.”<\/p>\n

Both songs bode incredibly well for Cupid<\/strong> Deluxe<\/strong><\/em>, which could be THE pop hit of the season.<\/p>\n
