Those Best of 2013<\/strong> lists will wait won’t they?\u00a0 Great music continues to disrupt our brainwaves and aspirations.\u00a0 Principle amongst this disruptive music is the superb set of artists captured below that continue to portend and tease with a visit to Cali.\u00a0 Months later, we’re still waiting.\u00a0 It’s been a long, long, lonely time since Dave Rawlings<\/strong> and Gillian Welch<\/strong> (in whatever Machine<\/strong>, guise or assembly) have graced these Western shores.\u00a0 We say it’s high time.\u00a0 We wrote last month about Rawlings<\/strong> and his Big Machine<\/strong> covering Going to California<\/strong><\/em> with <\/a>Zep’s John<\/a> Paul Jones<\/span><\/strong>, but until now we had not seen a proper capture of the cover.\u00a0 Now the cover has been perfectly captured by LiveandBreathing\u00a0<\/a><\/strong> (via American Songwriter<\/strong>).
