href=\"https:\/\/www.thelefortreport.com\/blog\/2010-08\/st-damien\/\"><em><strong>Saint Bartlett<\/strong><\/em><\/a> and 2012&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelefortreport.com\/blog\/2012-02\/damien-jurados-fantastic-new-album-mariqopa-streaming-on-a-v-club\/\"><em><strong>Mariqopa<\/strong><\/em><\/a>,.\u00a0 According to <strong>Jurado&#8217;s<\/strong> PR, his new album <strong><em>Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal Son<\/em><\/strong> is intended as a sequel to his last album, <em><strong>Mariqopa<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 <strong><\/strong><em><\/em>In keeping with recent albums, the new album was again produced by\u00a0 <strong>Richard Swift,<\/strong> and his kitchen-sink production motif is apparent from the beginning of the album.\u00a0\u00a0 You can listen to the new album for the next week over at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/2014\/01\/05\/259143049\/first-listen-damien-jurado-brothers-and-sisters-of-the-eternal-son#playlist\"><strong>NPR<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 As you&#8217;ll hear, the first five songs are big-production numbers that smack of various \u201960s movie soundtracks but with<strong> Jurado\u2019s<\/strong> signature vocals lighting the way.\u00a0 The last half of the album thankfully yields the spotlight to the quieter and more affecting side of <strong>Jurado<\/strong>.\u00a0 Overall <strong><em>Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal Son<\/em><\/strong> is yet another
