We messed around and missed out on Band of Horses’<\/strong> acoustic-tour show at the Wilshire Ebell<\/strong> on Tuesday (reliable reports are roundly praising), and are still licking our wounds.\u00a0 Thankfully a missive came (thanks Erik!) helping to heal that wound.\u00a0 Add to that some newly-unearthed footage of the band, and we are doing our best to live vicariously.<\/p>\n

Watch below\u00a0Band of Horses<\/strong>\u00a0 performing all-acoustic at The Masonic Lodge at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery <\/strong>(when did VEVO get so incredibly annoying?), followed by the band (well, Ben Bridwell<\/strong> and Tyler Ramsey<\/strong>) making magique in a couple of (older, but still acoustic) in-stores at Nudie Jeans<\/strong>.\u00a0 The performances confirm what we witnessed at the Troubadour<\/strong> <\/a>a while back–while they can rock with the best, Band of Horses’<\/strong> acoustic moments are amongst the richest moments in music.\u00a0 Check ’em out.\u00a0 The band is currently out on tour in support of their fantastic new all-acoustic album, Live at the Ryman.<\/strong><\/em><\/a>\u00a0 The all-acoustic North American tour continues on Valentines Day<\/strong> in San Francisco at the Palace of Fine Arts<\/strong>, and you can check out all the dates and get tickets HERE<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
