Critically-acclaimed Brit-band Wild Beasts<\/strong><\/a> showed up on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic<\/strong> yesterday in support of their most recent album, Present Tense<\/i><\/strong>.\u00a0 As mentioned in their interview with MBE<\/strong>, this album was given more time to gestate than prior records.\u00a0 The band, Hayden Thorpe<\/strong> (vocals, guitar, bass, keys), Tom Fleming<\/strong> (vocals, guitar, bass, keys), Chris Talbot<\/strong> (drums) and Ben Little<\/strong> (guitar, keys) took a full year from touring to created and record the album.\u00a0 To get a feel check out their ’80s synth-pop-esque performance below of track Wanderlust<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 It’s a builder, and sounds like a great mix of ABC<\/strong>, Soft Cell, <\/strong>and Ultravox<\/strong>, and the vocals of Orange Juice.<\/strong>\u00a0 If you want to hear the remainder of their session, go over to KCRW<\/strong> HERE<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
