Apparently it’s been decided:\u00a0 The War On Drugs’ <\/a><\/strong>new album Lost in the Dream<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>is the album of the year.\u00a0 Their new album is gaining near-universal high-praise<\/strong><\/a>, and we are firmly seat-belted into that bandwagon.\u00a0 As with their last album, Slave Ambient<\/strong><\/em>, Adam Granduciel<\/strong> and band have delivered a superb and moving collection of songs that slow-build and brood and release all down the line, led by Granduciel’s<\/strong> updated Knopfler-Dylan-Springsteen<\/strong> mien.\u00a0 The band is now out on tour in support of their superb new album, and you can get a feel for their captivating live act below as they perform songs from the new album at WFUV<\/strong> and the World Cafe<\/strong>.\u00a0 Their impending tour dates are at bottom, and we will be at the Troubadour<\/strong> in LA on 4\/4.\u00a0 Look us up; we can’t wait for the show.\u00a0 To hear the full WFUV<\/strong> session, you can go HERE<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
