magnificent <strong>Manchester Orchestra<\/strong> today released their new, decidely-heavier album\u00a0<em><strong>Cope<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 Last night the band showed up on the<strong> Letterman Show<\/strong> and simply let &#8216;er rip.\u00a0\u00a0<em><strong>Cope<\/strong><\/em> with it will ya?\u00a0 In front, you hear the metallic sturm und drang, but in back you hear a band with talent, touch and &#8216;telligence.\u00a0 Storm and drive indeed.\u00a0 For days.<\/p>\n<p>Hilarious to hear <strong>Paul Shaffer<\/strong> exclaim at the end:\u00a0 &#8220;White people party music!&#8221;\u00a0 Well Paul&#8230;if you mean heavy music that wails and wallows, but then breaks you down and seizes your heart and your mind&#8211;then yes.\u00a0 Finally, worthy &#8220;party&#8221;
