The affecting Brit-band Daughter<\/strong> recently recorded five song’s in London’s Air Studios<\/strong><\/a> (founded by George Martin<\/strong>) with composer Joe Duddell<\/strong> and a 10-piece chamber orchestra.\u00a0 We were early fans of the band<\/strong><\/a>, which continues to grow in sound and notoriety.\u00a0 To hear the band and get a feel for these classically-arranged performances, check out below Daughter’s<\/strong> superb song Shallows<\/strong><\/em> as arranged by Duddell<\/strong> and augmented by the chamber orchestra.\u00a0 The full five-track session will be released as an EP on April 15th and as a limited-edition 12″ on May 26th<\/strong> and you can pre-order it HERE<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
