so.\u00a0 Everything <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kendricklamar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Lamar<\/strong><\/a> touches turns to hip-hop art.\u00a0 This week featured a couple of fantastic new cameos by <strong>Lamar<\/strong> that added immensely to strong showings from the main attractions.<\/p>\n<p>First, Atlanta&#8217;s<strong> Jeezy<\/strong> celebrated the release this week of his new album, <em><strong>Seen It All: The Autobiography<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 <strong>Jeezy&#8217;s<\/strong> enlisted the help of some dude named <strong>Jay Z<\/strong> on the album&#8217;s title track, but now he&#8217;s brought the heat in a remix of <em><strong>Holy Ghost<\/strong> <\/em>featuring the all-time energy and intelligence of <strong>Kendrick Lamar<\/strong> (who enters hard at 2:48).\u00a0 href=\"https:\/\/www.thelefortreport.com\/blog\/2010-05\/flying-lotus-escapes-the-underground-2\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>streaming through our consciousness since at least 2010<\/strong><\/a>, after which we gave him credit in our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelefortreport.com\/blog\/2010-12\/the-year-in-music-the-year-in-song-2010-part-i\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Best Albums<\/strong><\/a> (<em><strong>Cosmogramma<\/strong><\/em>) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelefortreport.com\/blog\/2010-12\/the-year-in-music-the-year-in-song-part-ii\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Best Songs<\/strong><\/a> (<strong><em>And the World Laughs With You<\/em><\/strong>) of 2010.\u00a0 But we acknowledge being simpleton, lyric-centric music-lovers and admit to becoming distracted and missing a lot of great instrumental music, including <strong>FlyLo&#8217;s<\/strong>.\u00a0 But we quickly snap back to attention when words are added to the<strong> FlyLo<\/strong> mix (along with more musical aggression).\u00a0 And when those words are aggressively provided by the great<strong> Kendrick Lamar<\/strong>, we are all-in.\u00a0 Check out below the new FlyLo track <em><strong>Never Catch Me<\/strong><\/em>, featuring the luminous <strong>Mr. Lamar<\/strong>.\u00a0 The track starts out briefly woozy, but the drums kick it up quickly and at 0:13, <strong>Kendrick<\/strong> enters and it&#8217;s off to the races &#8220;with hope inside of my bones.&#8221;\u00a0 Superb.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\"
