The interweb was agog yesterday with the semaphoric, ever-enigmatic news that Radiohead’s Thom Yorke<\/strong> and Johnny Greenwood<\/strong> had dispensed pixels depicting something white and round (see at bottom), which may or may not be representative of somebody’s new album or, really, anything musical at all.\u00a0 Yay!\u00a0 In the words of the seminal Johnny Rotten<\/strong> from way back:\u00a0 “Ever feel like you’ve been cheated??”<\/p>\n

In the meantime in Comparatively Concrete News<\/strong><\/em>, Radiohead’s<\/strong> drummer Phil Selway<\/strong><\/a> has released two tracks from his impending album Weatherhouse<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 While nothing can touch the loft of Radiohead’s<\/strong> output, Selway<\/strong> acquits himself incredibly well on the tracks Coming Up For Air<\/strong><\/em> and This Will End In Tears<\/strong><\/em> (oh, the uplift).\u00a0 Check out the videos for both and below them the better-sounding audio tracks after.<\/p>\n
