Neil Young<\/strong> has frankly been getting on our last nerve.\u00a0 While he is one of our all-time favorite artists, his ridiculously high-priced recent tours, PONO<\/strong>-grandstanding, and (horrors) divorce of long-loved wife Pegi<\/strong> (for Daryl Hannah<\/strong>?), have taken a toll on our admiration.\u00a0 Thankfully, Young<\/strong> showed up on The Colbert Report<\/strong> last night and took in stride some hilarious slings and arrows from Stephen Colbert<\/strong>.\u00a0 And so some of the Young-love has been restored.\u00a0 Neil is out promoting his new book, Special Deluxe: A Memoir of Life & Cars<\/strong><\/em>, along with new album Storytone<\/strong><\/em> (out November 4th), and new digital music player (dubbed “Toblerone” by Colbert).\u00a0 After a hilarious interview (see at bottom), the two performed Young’s new single Who\u2019s Gonna Stand Up?
