Blood Orange<\/strong><\/a> (Dev Hynes<\/strong>) made his network TV debut this week on the Jimmy Kimmel Show<\/strong>.\u00a0 Hynes<\/strong> is the ensemble’s fantastic, multitalented (producer, composer, vocalist and shredding guitar player) mastermind, and he chose to add girlfriend Samantha Urbani <\/strong>and some dancers to deliver a rousing performance of It Is What It Is<\/strong> <\/em>from Blood Orange’s<\/strong> tremendous 2013 album\u00a0Cupid Deluxe<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Hynes<\/strong> had this to say about the performance:\u00a0 “I remember making this song in my bedroom, jankily recording every single part & instrument myself as I usually do, while sitting on my bed at 4am, it\u2019s strange and amazing what can happen in a year\u2026.<\/em>” Check the performance out below.<\/p>\n

Afterwards watch Hynes<\/strong> perform solo his hypnotic paean to love, Time Will Tell,<\/strong><\/em> even venturing out into the audience during the song.\u00a0 Suffice it to say, Hynes<\/strong> is hardly inhibited.\u00a0 Entertaining stuff!<\/p>\n
