We’d been hearing great things about British trio\u00a0Vaults<\/strong><\/a>, but until this week we hadn’t heard a song that truly vaulted them over a some of the better players in the synth-pop genre, falling somewhere between The xx, Florence and the Machine, Bat For Lashes<\/strong> and Purity Ring<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

But with new track Poison<\/strong><\/em>, we’re beginning to fully appreciate the building buzz for this band.\u00a0 The track is from the impending release of the trio’s EP entitled Vultures<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 Check it out below.\u00a0 We love the almost-realcountry rasp in the (as yet) unnamed female singer.\u00a0 Afterwards, check out our other favorite from the band, Cry No More<\/strong><\/em> (from over a year ago) with its water-glass\/wind-chime effects and soaring vocals.\u00a0 And then go HERE<\/strong><\/a> to hear more Vaults<\/strong> music.<\/p>\n
