Oh what we wouldn’t have done to catch a show on the fantastic Damon Albarn<\/a> & The Heavy Seas<\/strong> tour.\u00a0 The tour is being touted as the Best of 2014<\/strong>, and from what we’ve seen we cannot disagree (due deference to Elbow<\/strong> and The National<\/strong>).\u00a0 Both tonight and last night at Albert Hall<\/strong> in London, Albarn<\/strong> and his fabulous ensemble of singers and players were joined by the brilliant Brian Eno, Blur’s Graham Coxson<\/strong> and De La Soul<\/strong>.\u00a0 Check out below as Eno<\/strong> joins for the recent, Sunday-perfect Heavy Seas of Love<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, Coxson<\/strong> joining for Blur’s<\/strong> feel-good song Tender<\/strong><\/em>, and De La Soul<\/strong> joining for Gorillaz’ Feel Good Inc<\/em>.<\/strong>\u00a0 There was beauty and magic to behold, and thankfully several\u00a0 fans captured the proceedings.\u00a0 Check out the videos below of those three performances. Included first are alternative videos of Heavy Seas of Love<\/strong><\/em>, the first better visually and the second better sounding.\u00a0 What a heartwarming, joyous way to end a concert.\u00a0 Bravo Damon<\/strong> (and Eno<\/strong>)!\u00a0 Afterwards watch as Tender<\/strong><\/em> was its usual beautiful self and Feel Good Inc.<\/strong> <\/em>was just that.\u00a0 There you have it: a hat trick of love and good will.\u00a0 What could be better on a Sunday?<\/p>\n
