You may be leaving for an airport soon.\u00a0 This Sunday or another day soon.\u00a0 To help put matters in perspective, check out Aussie\/Brooklyn duo Luluc’s<\/strong> song\/video Small Window <\/strong><\/em>below.\u00a0 Luluc<\/strong><\/a> (Zo\u00eb Randell<\/strong> and Steve Hassett<\/strong>) has been picking up Best of 2014<\/strong> accolades from around the globe for its Aaron Dessner<\/strong>-produced album Passerby<\/strong><\/em> (on SubPop<\/strong>) and the songs thereon, and not least for Small Window <\/strong><\/em>(lyrics at very bottom).\u00a0 Check it out below in all its melancholy, pastoral beauty.\u00a0\u00a0 Comparisons to the underrated Kate Wolf<\/strong> are not incorrect, along with Iron & Wine<\/strong> (an original SubPop<\/strong> find), Hem <\/strong>and Claudia Schmidt<\/strong>.\u00a0 We love Dessner’s<\/strong> (standard) deft production on the album (check out the horns on Tangled Heart<\/strong><\/em> below).<\/p>\n

If you don’t trust us, none other than The National’s<\/strong> Matt Berninger<\/strong> is quoted as saying: “I’ve played Passerby<\/strong> <\/em>on repeat; for months it was the only album I wanted to listen to.\u201d<\/p>\n
