We’ve never hid our lifelong love of the soul-stirring music of Neil Young<\/strong>.\u00a0 So last night’s Tonight Show<\/strong> episode was a classic for us.\u00a0 First, Jimmy Fallon<\/strong> did his great impersonation of Young<\/strong>, only to be joined mid-song by Young<\/strong>, on the classic Old Man<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 If this Tonight Show<\/strong> gig doesn’t work out for Fallon<\/strong>, perhaps he can join Young<\/strong> and tour together.<\/p>\n

But then true magic ensued when Young<\/strong> took over the stage with The Roots<\/strong>, a horn section and backup singers for a super-powerful version of his new song, the socially-emphatic Who\u2019s Gonna Stand Up?<\/strong><\/em>, from his latest album, Storytone<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 Power in spades!\u00a0 Listen up people.<\/p>\n

Young<\/strong> also sat down for an interview to discuss Bradley Cooper\u2019s<\/strong> (errant) air-guitar performance of Young’s Down by the River<\/em><\/strong> on the Tonight Show<\/strong>, as well as (what else) the music player PONO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
