Apologies, but we’re predisposed to not like new The Late Late Show <\/strong><\/em>host\u00a0<\/strong>James Corden<\/strong>.\u00a0 <\/em>We were huge fans of the former host, the lightning-quick Craig Ferguson<\/strong> and have been in mourning ever since his departure.\u00a0 But if there’s one way to win us over quickly, it’s to bring in the augmented, nine-member Modest Mouse<\/strong><\/a> as the first musical guest on the show’s opening night.\u00a0 Watch below as the band performs the driving Be Brave<\/strong><\/em> off of their great new album,\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Strangers to Ourselves<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 Snappy togs on Isaac Brock<\/strong>.\u00a0 Can’t wait to see if Corden and crew can keep killin’ with the music.<\/p>\n

Afterwards watch the band absolutely slaughter the new The Ground Walks, With Time in a Box<\/strong><\/em> on last Saturday’s CBS This Morning<\/strong>.\u00a0 The band also performed Coyotes<\/strong><\/em> off the new album on the show.<\/p>\n
