Back in 2011, Van Pierszalowski<\/strong> sailed away from his former band, Port O\u2019Brien<\/strong>, into Waters<\/strong><\/a> (his new band).\u00a0 That year we c<\/a><\/strong>aught Waters vibrant set<\/strong> at Muddy Waters amidst a tidy little crowd in support of their stellar debut album Out In The Light<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.\u00a0 As good as the band was that night, we were concerned given the small turnout and their ability to separate themselves from the heightened competition.\u00a0 Our concern increased as Waters<\/strong> faded a bit into the background.\u00a0 But amidst this drought they are thankfully back with a new album, entitled What\u2019s Real<\/em><\/strong>, which will come out next week.\u00a0 And they showed last night, in their late-night TV debut on Conan<\/strong>, that they are a power-pop force to be reckoned with.\u00a0 Watch below as the augmented band delivers a powerful performance of new song Got To My Head<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 We love everything about it.<\/p>\n
