\"InsideOut\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Spoon\u2019s<\/strong> <\/a>2014 album, They Want My Soul<\/em><\/strong>, was one of the Best Albums of 2014<\/strong>, and the track Inside Out<\/strong><\/em> was one of the bests of that Best.\u00a0 So much so that the band recently released a four-track EP of remixes of the song<\/a> and the original demo of the song<\/a>. And, in connection with his Eaux Claires Music Festival <\/strong>(at which Spoon<\/strong> will play), Justin Vernon<\/strong> has done the song justice by covering it well<\/a>.\u00a0 And now the song has been honored with its official video, which you can check out below.\u00a0 The video was directed by LeBlanc + Cudmore<\/strong> (ALt-J, Belle<\/strong> & Sebastian<\/strong>).\u00a0 In the video, time has indeed gone inside out with sepia-toned vignettes of a robbery, a heinous fight; a prowling vixen in a tawdry motel; a backup singers\u2019 studio session; and a too-young wedding.\u00a0 Most of the scenes have some unsavory flavor to them, playing into our prior theorem about the song’s lyrics<\/a>.\u00a0 Check the video out below and solve the visual riddle for us.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, Spoon<\/strong> remains out on tour<\/a> and is headed to California later this month.\u00a0 We can’t wait.<\/p>\n
