According to the boys&#8217; press release, the album \u201cis a deeply personal album that pokes, prods, and even strangely celebrates the zeitgeist of music commerce, pleasure culture, technological advances and the new home they\u2019ve found in Los Angeles.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve had <em><strong>Fixation<\/strong> <\/em>on repeat, and yes, we have become fixated with it.\u00a0 We love the pounding keyboards and ethereal vocals, and pretty much everything about it.\u00a0 The keys and chorus (\u201cMy whole life fixation\/See if we can make it underneath the radar\u201d) mesh perfectly on the song, which is said to be &#8220;a song about the beauty in bottoming out and then finding the false bottom.&#8221;\u00a0 To our ears the song sounds like a great mashup of <strong>Animal Collective, The Cars <\/strong>and<strong> Tame Impala<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Music For Dogs<\/strong> <\/em>was produced by <strong>Jacob Portrait (Unknown Mortal Orchestra)<\/strong> and band members A<strong>dam Rasmussen<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Chris Lynch<\/strong> are joined on it by the rousing rhythm section of <strong>Dusty Ineman<\/strong> (drums) and <strong>Shane McKillop<\/strong> (bass).<\/p>\n<p>You can pre-order <em><strong>Music For Dogs<\/strong><\/em> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scdistribution.com\/gardensandvilla\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>HERE<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/209380120&amp;color=ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Gardens &amp; Villa Tour Dates<\/strong> (<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/secretlycanadian.com\/tour.php#gardensvilla\" target=\"_blank\">Tix HERE<\/a><\/strong>)<\/p>\n<p>Fri.
