The indie-pop threesome, Bad Bad Hats<\/strong><\/a>, hail from Minneapolis and recently released their debut album Psychic Reader<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0as a free download (who do they think they are, Radiohead<\/strong> or U2<\/strong>?). \u00a0We like everything we’ve heard so far from this winning trio, but especially Fight Song<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(first up below). \u00a0Singer Kerry Alexander and the boys sound to our ears like a winsome mash-up of Best Albums of\u00a02012<\/a><\/strong> faves Allo Darlin’<\/strong>\u00a0(No. 1 that year) and Like Pioneers\u00a0<\/strong>(No. 2 and where have they gone?). \u00a0High praise in our book. \u00a0Check ’em out below.<\/p>\n
