Julia Holter\u2019s<\/a><\/strong> last album Loud City Song\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>was amongst our Best Albums of 2013<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 Thankfully, Holter<\/strong> has announced that her next offering, Have You in My Wilderness<\/em><\/a><\/strong> (the album has its own website), will be released on September 25th on Domino<\/strong>. To accompany the announcement, Holter<\/strong> released a new video for the album\u2019s first track entitled Feel You<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>We’re not exactly sure what to make of the video, which features the singer and her scruffy-sweet dog within and without her Los Angeles environs, but the song soars throughout and is a return to form for Holter<\/strong>.\u00a0 We know others who have been similarly saved by a dog’s love.\u00a0 Let it be so.<\/p>\n

According to a press release: “Have You in My Wilderness<\/em><\/strong> was written from the heart \u2013 warm, dark and raw \u2013 and explores love, trust, and power in human relationships.” Check it out below and, after, the song’s handwritten, enigmatic lyrics (zoom in).<\/p>\n
