One of our favorite new projects of 2015 is\u00a0EL VY<\/a><\/strong> (The National’s Matt Berninger<\/strong> and Ramona Falls’\/Menomena’s Brent Knopf<\/strong>). \u00a0In advance of the release of their debut album, EL VY<\/strong> made its network TV debut last night on Conan<\/strong>. \u00a0Watch below as Berninger, Knopf<\/strong> and their superb backers light up Conan’s<\/strong> stage while performing the title track to their impending album, Return To The Moon\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>(on 4AD<\/strong>). While\u00a0Berninger<\/strong>\u00a0can do no wrong in our book,\u00a0Knopf<\/strong>\u00a0especially impressed with his ambi-instrumental acumen and verve. \u00a0That is one seriously catchy song, and its ante was upped live! \u00a0Impressive.<\/p>\n
