We’ve been running all over the West Coast trying to keep time with the times, but seem to only have lost it (time, that is). \u00a0While we were away a whole host of things went down, including the new host at The Daily Show<\/strong>, Trevor Noah. \u00a0<\/strong>We’re still assessing the future\u00a0ark of Noah<\/strong>, but he did way right last week by\u00a0bringing on the talented Ryan Adams<\/a><\/strong> to perform songs from Adams’<\/strong> new album 1989<\/strong><\/em>, an indie-rock rearrangement of Taylor Swift’<\/strong>s pop masterwork. \u00a0Watch below as Adams<\/strong>\u00a0performs\u00a0B<\/strong>lank<\/em> Space, Bad Blood,<\/strong><\/em> and Style<\/strong><\/em> (presented in our order of preference). \u00a0As good as the originals were, B<\/strong>lank Space<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Bad Blood\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>are superb examples of why Adams<\/strong> has mattered all these years. \u00a0B<\/strong>lank Space<\/strong><\/em>, in particular,\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>is simply chill-inducing. \u00a0Well-played Mr. Adams. Congrats for all the sales, charting and accolades. \u00a0Well-deserved.<\/p>\n
