EL VY<\/a><\/strong>‘s coming, hide your heart, girl. \u00a0 EL VY<\/strong> (Matt Berninger<\/strong>\u00a0and Brent Knopf<\/strong>)\u00a0has already given us several<\/a><\/strong> good<\/a><\/strong> reasons<\/strong> <\/a>to be big fans of this project (along with an impressive performance on Conan<\/a><\/strong>), and today have offered up new, coming-of-music-age<\/strong> cut Paul Is Aliv<\/strong><\/em>e. \u00a0Their promising album Return to the Moon<\/strong><\/em> will be released on\u00a0October 30th on 4AD<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

About the new song, Berninger says<\/strong>: \u00a0\u201cI think \u2018Paul Is Alive\u2019 is about finally finding the water that you can breathe in, finding a place or a person that makes you feel like you. It\u2019s very much my story of what Cincinnati was like, growing up and falling in love with music, discovering these little places where like-minded people could find each other.\u201d<\/p>\n
