As we’ve mentioned<\/a><\/strong> repeatedly<\/a><\/strong>, the multi-talented, smarty-pants artist Julia Holter<\/a><\/strong> has released an outstanding, critically-acclaimed new album entitled Have You In My Wilderness\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>on Domino Recording<\/b>. \u00a0The new album is Holter’s<\/strong> most accessible and is filled with lobe-invasion melodies and lyrical mises-en-scenes. \u00a0Today\u00a0Holter<\/strong>\u00a0has released the official video for the beguiling song, Silhouette<\/strong><\/em>, off the new album. \u00a0Check it out below, followed by Holter<\/strong> and her gifted band members’ live rendering on KEXP<\/strong>. \u00a0Holter<\/strong> told The Guardian<\/strong> that the song was “inspired by a story about two sisters obsessively waiting for their lover \u2013 the same lover \u2013 to return.” \u00a0Scratching our heads about that given the song’s lyrics (below), but we love the evocative song.<\/p>\n
