Having just driven almost the entirety of the state in the last five days, we’ve had Grimes<\/a>‘ <\/strong>captivating\u00a0California<\/em><\/strong> in our ears and minds. \u00a0The multi-talented Grimes<\/strong> has written one of the most infectious songs of the year in California<\/strong><\/em>. \u00a0Whether it be a kiss-off of Pitchfork<\/strong>\u00a0(amen!) or other music blogs (fo’ shame!), the song’s (Dolly) Parton<\/strong>-esque vocals over Swiftian<\/strong> pop\/country and Rhianna<\/strong> samples is as catchy as chlamydia, and we can’t stop listening to it. \u00a0Check it out below (lyrics at bottom).<\/p>\n
