\"Track-and-Field\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The sport of Track and Field<\/strong> is now in full swing, and we’ve got a couple of songs to add to our intermittent\u00a0Track and Field Mixtape<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0series (songs that are at least remotely-related to the sport).<\/p>\n

First up is Chairlift’s<\/a><\/strong> frenetic Romeo\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>off their new album Moth<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(“Romeo-put on your running shoes, I’m ready to go…the only way to catch me is to cheat” [Ed.–Hello Jamaica and Russia!!]), followed by Julien Baker’s<\/a> Sprained Ankle<\/em><\/strong> (“Sprinter, learning to wait, marathon runner, my ankles are sprained”). The latter song serves to tie fella-Tennessee-ans Baker<\/strong> and terrific Torres<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0closer together among the\u00a0Sprinters<\/a><\/strong><\/em>. \u00a0Let the games begin.<\/p>\n
