Wilco<\/a><\/strong> remains one of the best rock bands extant, and continues to release albums chock-full of great songs (last year’s Star Wars<\/strong><\/em> appeared on a bountiful number of Best Albums of 2015<\/strong> lists). \u00a0As partial proof of their continued vitality, NPR<\/strong> brought Wilco<\/strong> back for an unprecedented second Tiny Desk Concert<\/strong>. \u00a0The band first performed on the\u00a0Tiny Desk<\/strong>\u00a0back in 2011 and now in 2016. \u00a0Watch below as the band admirably opens with the Dylan<\/strong>-esque\u00a0The Joke Explained<\/strong><\/em> from Star Wars<\/strong><\/em>. \u00a0They then segued into the still-brilliant Misunderstood<\/strong><\/em> from their second album\u00a0Being There<\/em><\/strong>, before closing out with Wilco<\/strong>-set-list stalwarts\u00a0I\u2019m Always in Love<\/strong><\/em> and Shot in the Arm<\/strong><\/em> from their brilliant\u00a0Summerteeth<\/strong><\/em> album. \u00a0There is beauty within.<\/p>\n

On the comedic front, before performing their last song\u00a0Jeff Tweedy<\/strong> remarks: “OK, we’re going to play one more song, and then you guys need to get back to solving this Trump problem<\/strong>. That’s what you do right?” Please. Someone.<\/p>\n
