The outpouring for the late, great David Bowie<\/strong> continues unabated. And rightfully so. This Friday (April 1st<\/strong>) a host of great artists (Pixies, The Roots, Polyphonic Spree, Blondie, Anna Calvi,<\/strong> and Esperanza Spalding<\/strong>, among others) will perform at Radio City Music Hall<\/strong>\u00a0as part of a Bowie tribute concert<\/a>, <\/strong>which you can stream live (via that link) by making a donation to one of\u00a0Bowie’s<\/strong> favored charities in NYC (where he lived until his passing).<\/p>\n

In a rare public performance, REM’s Michael Stipe<\/strong>, will also perform at the charity-concert. \u00a0To help draw attention to the concert, last night\u00a0Stipe<\/strong>\u00a0appeared (brazenly be-bearded) on Fallon’s Tonight Show.\u00a0<\/strong>Watch below as Stipe<\/strong> delivers\u00a0a stirring, elegiac cover of Bowie’s The Man Who Sold The World<\/em><\/strong>, accompanied only by go-for-baroque piano.
