On Saturday she had arguably her highest profile outing to date, appearing as the musical guest on <strong>Saturday Night Live<\/strong>. Watch below to get a feel for <strong>Ms. Barnett&#8217;s<\/strong> rockier side (in addition to her stellar balladry, such as on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelefortreport.com\/blog\/2015-03\/listen-to-courtney-barnetts-great-new-california-centric-song-depreston\/\"><em><strong>Depreston<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, one of the top songs of all of 2015).<\/p>\n<p>First up on our agenda is <em><strong>Pedestrian at Best<\/strong> <\/em>on which <strong>Barnett<\/strong>\u00a0strikes out for <strong>Nirvana<\/strong>, and then amplifies the effect with her <strong>Cobain<\/strong>-esque growls from the 3:15 mark on. Superb stuff. She also performed the rollicking, comedic <em><strong>Nobody Really Cares If You Don&#8217;t Go to the Party<\/strong><\/em>.
