From the influential<strong> Rilo Kiley<\/strong> band to solo artist, to <strong>Postal Service<\/strong> member and back again, <strong>Lewis<\/strong> has shown that she is a musical force to be reckoned with. After a hiatus, <strong>Lewis<\/strong> has returned in a nice way with a new collaboration entitled <a href=\"http:\/\/shop.jennylewis.com\/\"><strong>Nice As F*#k <\/strong><\/a>(&#8220;<strong>NAF&#8221;<\/strong>, let&#8217;s say). Joining <strong>Lewis<\/strong>\u00a0in the trio are <strong>Au Revoir Simone\u2019s Erika Forster<\/strong> and <strong>The Like\u2019s Tennessee Thomas<\/strong>. The trio have been out on a virtual pop-up tour wowing audiences, surprise-released their acclaimed debut album and last night made their TV debut on the <strong>Colbert Show<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Watch below as <strong>NAF<\/strong>\u00a0perform an uber-vibrant medley of (pro-love)\u00a0<em><strong>Door<\/strong><\/em> and (anti-gun)\u00a0<em><strong>Guns<\/strong><\/em>, both songs off of their stellar debut. \u00a0To our ears <strong>NAF<\/strong> is a perfect meeting between the indie-rock of <strong>Rilo Kiley<\/strong> and the more synth-based<strong> Postal Service<\/strong>. \u00a0Add to that mix the seminal <strong>Joy Division&#8217;s<\/strong> bass-intro on <em><strong>Doors<\/strong><\/em> below and fan singalong, and it&#8217;s all nice as feck!<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dvHLKldiFuc\" width=\"625\" height=\"425\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Time has shown Jenny Lewis to be one of the most talented musical artists of her generation.
