Monday night on the Late Show With Stephen Colbert<\/a>, Ryan Adams<\/a><\/strong> broke out his seminal Americana chestnut Oh My Sweet Carolina<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0with the help of the Infamous Stringdusters<\/strong> and singer Nicki Bluhm<\/strong><\/a> (lending heavenly harmonies in lieu of Emmylou Harris<\/strong> who sang on the original). \u00a0While it’s possible that the song was a request by Colbert<\/strong>, who grew up in South Carolina, Adams<\/strong> is also out supporting his recent deluxe-reissue of his\u00a0Heartbreaker<\/strong><\/em> album (one of THE great albums of Americana or any genre and on which the song originally appeared).<\/p>\n
