Happy holidays are finally here in the form of new song Magnificent (She Says)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0from the great British band Elbow<\/strong><\/a> along with news that the band\u00a0<\/strong>will release a new studio album entitled Little Fictions<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>(on Polydor<\/strong>) in February. \u00a0See the new album’s tracklist below.<\/p>\n

According to the band’s press release, the new album was recorded in Scotland and Manchester, was produced by Craig Potter<\/strong> and features string players from the Hall\u00e9 Orchestra<\/strong>, backing vocals from Hall\u00e9 Ancoats Community Choir<\/strong> and London Contemporary Voices<\/strong>, and\u00a0session drummer Alex Reeves<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Elbow’s l<\/strong>ast album was 2014’s The Take Off and Landing of Everything<\/em><\/strong>, which was one of our Best Albums of 2014<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Check the new song out below, featuring strings and ample swoon. Great stuff from the always-reliable Elbow<\/strong>. While the band has frequently featured strings in its recordings and tours, the strings here remind of Radiohead’s<\/strong> Burn The Witch<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n
