Australia<\/strong> has over the years given the world some of our best music, and especially indie\/punk rock. We grew up with venerable upstarts such as\u00a0The Saints, Radio Birdman, The Go-Betweens, The Church, Birthday Party (Nick Cave), Crowded House<\/strong>, and Paul Kelly,<\/strong>\u00a0and on and on, most recently becoming enamored by Angus & Julia Stone, Allo Darlin’<\/strong>, and the uber-talented\u00a0Courtney Barnett<\/strong>. Now joining these ranks are the Sydney trio Middle Kids<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>(featuring another left-handed guitarist–to match Barnett–<\/strong>and gifted vocalist, Hannah Joy<\/strong>)<\/span>. We became aware of them via their ridiculously addicting songs\u00a0Edge of Town<\/strong><\/em> and Your Love<\/strong><\/em> (both featured on many Best Songs of 2016<\/strong> lists). The band has now released the official video for the stellar Never Start<\/strong><\/em>, which will be included in their upcoming EP (which you can pre-order HERE<\/b><\/a>) on Domino Records<\/strong>. You can just feel it: these Kids have legs!<\/p>\n
