If it wasn&#8217;t for a lone performance at <strong>SXSW<\/strong> in 2015, tomorrow night\u00a0<del>tonight<\/del> would be his debut in the U.S.. So to be safe we&#8217;ll just say that the soul-deep <strong>Carner<\/strong>\u00a0is making his West Coast debut tomorrow night\u00a0<del>tonight<\/del>, the first of only six shows in the States in support of his enthralling album <em><strong> Yesterday\u2019s Gone<\/strong><\/em>,<em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>before returning to the UK to close out his tour (see dates <a href=\"http:\/\/loylecarner.com\/\"><strong>HERE<\/strong><\/a>). <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelefortreport.com\/blog\/2017-03\/check-out-britains-tremendously-atypical-rap-artist-loyle-carner\/\"><strong>As we wrote<\/strong><\/a> a few months ago, <strong>Carner<\/strong>\u00a0is a 21-year old British rap\/soul artist doing his best to transcend rap music\u2019s stereotypical drugs and guns, and instead lift up family,\u00a0lament the load of responsibility, pay tribute to musical fore-bearers, and grapple with faith and father figures (or the lack thereof. That&#8217;s all. His song <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/GazJC5cAcIw\"><em><strong>Ain&#8217;t Nothing Changed<\/strong><\/em><\/a> is one of our favorite discoveries of the year.
