A founding member of the legendary\/vaunted band <strong>The Fiery Furnaces<\/strong>, <strong>Friedberger<\/strong> has gone on to issue a series of superb and highly-acclaimed solo albums. <strong>Friedberger<\/strong> is set to \u00a0release her new album, <em><strong>Rebound<\/strong><\/em>, on <strong>Frenchkiss Records<\/strong> on <strong><span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1735090628\"><span class=\"aQJ\">May 4, 2018<\/span><\/span><\/strong>. I thought his use of analog feedback and bold color fit the mood of\u00a0<em>Rebound<\/em>\u00a0perfectly. With a little moral support and instruction from Kim Gordon: &#8216;move around, just twirl.&#8217; I turned the camera on myself and hit record.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Following tonight&#8217;s opening for <strong>The Decemberists<\/strong>,<strong> Friedberger<\/strong> sets on various dates between now and June.
