We stumbled upon a couple of very inventive and innervating official videos from The Manchester Orchestra<\/strong> and Eskmo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

First up is Eskmo<\/strong>‘s\u00a0 video (directed by Cyriak Harris<\/strong>) for the song We Got More<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 Eskmo<\/strong> is Brendan Angelides, a San Francisco-based electronic music producer who records and performs live as Eskmo<\/strong>.\u00a0 Technically impressive, this Escher-esque video provides great encouragement to leave the computers, smart-phones and TVs behind and set out on a stroll along the beach or hike up into some hills, and think outside the silicon.<\/p>\n

Next up is The Manchester Orchestra<\/strong>‘s video (directed by DANIELS<\/strong>) for their anthemic song Simple Math <\/em><\/strong>(the title track to their most recent album).\u00a0 The Manchester Orchestra took the Santa Barbara Bowl<\/strong> by storm recently at the Summer Roundup<\/strong>, and is orchestrating a growing following.\u00a0 The song Simple Math <\/em>has echoes of Built to Spill<\/strong> vocally, and the video’s visuals are built to spill your emotions across the road and kitchen.
