Summertime has sashayed into Central California finally.\u00a0 You can see it in the sky, feel it in the\u00a0 fronds (palm) and scrape it off of State Street.\u00a0 Non-polar bears may now venture into the ocean, and there is unscheduled mayhem.\u00a0 Some are even (horrors!) off the grid.<\/p>\n
And you can hear summer in the song Trampolines<\/strong><\/em> by the young Chicago band Yourself and the Air<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>off of their new EP, Who’s Who in the Zoo, <\/strong>on Lujo Records<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 The song may be as fleeting as the days, but it shimmers and soundtracks the season for us, and lifts us into the summer sky.\u00a0 Ourselves in the air.<\/p>\n We were out of town when Yourself and the Air played at Muddy Waters<\/strong> recently, but we have heard good things about their set.\u00a0 We wish them well.
