We agree one thousand percent with Ben Folds<\/strong> who has said this about Clem Snide’s Eef Barzelay:<\/strong> “I can listen to that guy sing anything, all day<\/strong><\/em>.”\u00a0 And judge ye not, Folds knows a thing or two about singing.\u00a0 We’ll just say this about Eef Barzelay:\u00a0 he is America’s most underrated living singer (which is to take nothing away from his stellar songwriting), with phrasing skills to shame the Famers.\u00a0 You don’t need any more proof of the foregoing than in the recent A.V. Undercover<\/strong><\/a> video in which Eef enthralls while covering (of all things) Journey’s song, Faithfully, <\/strong><\/em>and accompanying himself beautifully on ukelele. <\/strong><\/em>Turns out you can, in fact, turn a sow’s ear into a silk purse.\u00a0\u00a0 Enjoy.<\/p>\n
