We spend a lot of time retromaniacally searching for alternate renditions of our favorite music.\u00a0\u00a0 Amongst other places, we always begin our quest at two tremendous sources:\u00a0 Cover Me<\/a> <\/strong>and Cover Lay Down<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 Both are highly recommended for those that are seeking alternative versions of your favorite music.\u00a0 For example, we found at Cover Me the outstanding cover of Arcade Fire’s <\/strong>Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)<\/strong><\/em> by San Francisco musicians Quinn DeVeaux<\/strong> and Meklit Hadero <\/strong>below.<\/p>\n

The duet has announced that they are working on a covers album together, and this is the first released teaser.\u00a0 We’re in.\u00a0 We love the minimalist take by the duo on Arcade Fire\u2019s original song with its wall of sound-and-snow production.\u00a0 All that is left of the song is its poignant essence and lyrical light.\u00a0 Check out the performance below courtesy of Cover Me.<\/p>\n
